Got a very special pen today. Special because of its rare N.Y. nib, and because it's a wet noodle. The pen is very glossy black with amazing imprints and details. The imprints are so crisp that the pen looks like it was made yesterday. Threads are excellent, and the cap screws on smoothly and tight. The pen is completely original with its Swan hard rubber feed delivering ink nicely to the original New York #2 14k gold nib. The nib is very willing to flex, and you can see this in my unflexed picture. So this pen will need someone with a light touch or to develop a light touch to get unflexed writing. When unflexed it writes a nice juicy Medium. When flexed it writes a BBB+ easily. Make no mistake this is a wet noodle. It has been a while since I ran across one, but this one has uber amounts of flex. No cracks, engravings, or bite marks. Only a few light scratches. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 13.6cm capped, 16.5cm posted, and 12.5cm unposted.
