[SOLD]Waterman 52 1/2v Black Chased Hard Rubber

A very flexible Waterman 52 1/2v. This is the smaller variant of the 52. The hard rubber is dark and the chasing is in very good condition. Imprints are good although my photography does not do it justice. There are some light bite marks at the end of the barrel, but not too noticeable unless you're looking for them. Lever has very good detail of Ideal Globe, and very nice luster. Threads are flawless, and the cap screws on/off smoothly. The nib is where this pen shines! The original Waterman's 14k Ideal #2 heart hole nib is XF-BB+ superflex, and capable of hairlines. Just a superb writer with some special flex. Nice and wet. It is a smooth writer with just a hint of tooth since it is XF. I haven't ran across many nibs capable of hairlines without some feeling of slight tooth. Just the nature of the beast. This will be a superb instrument when doing fancy scripts. Grab it while you can. Flexible vintage Watermans are very sought after. Measurements are: 11cm overall, 13.7cm posted, and 10.2cm unposted.
