This beautiful Swan has a very unique Snakeskin pattern. Made of beautiful celluloid that has been beautifully preserved. Imprints are excellent on barrel body and near butt end but not on the butt itself. Black ends on cap and barrel butt is nice and glossy. Clip has wear and plating has pitting. Nib is 14k Mabie Todd "Blackbird" which is not original to the pen, but is a full flex Oblique Medium point that flexes from a M-BB very easily. The correct nib should be a Swan 14k #1 nib. Easily replaceable back to the original. Has a new sac and writes VERY smooth. Section is black with Swan imprint, and is original/correct for the pen. Cap threads are not perfect, but cap screws on tight. What I mean by not perfect is that the cap screws on not perfectly centered but slightly off to an angle about 1 degree(probably less than 1 degree to be honest). Overall excellent pen in beautiful condition.
