[SOLD]Swan Snakeskin Emerald Green $75

[SOLD]Swan Snakeskin Emerald Green

This pen has been highly discounted due to some flaws, but it still writes amazingly smooth, and is quite a joy to write with. I'll state all the flaws first. The cap's rim has chips, the clip's ball is missing and has been filed down with a slight curve which still makes it functional for clipping the pen in a pocket. The very corner of the lever has a small chip, but I've found that the lever being slightly pointed actually makes it very easy to actuate the lever. The cap will slip on the very last turn, but it still screws on snugly if you stop before where it slips. Now with that aside, lets discuss the positives of this pen. It is an extremely rare finish, and good examples are getting harder and harder to find. The imprints are very good in the center of the body while the model imprint on the end is quite faded. Pen is all original including the wonderfully smooth and flexible 14k gold Swan nib. The nib's flexibility is right between a semi-flex and a full flex allowing beautiful line variation, but with very good control and responsiveness. Lays down a Fine to BB+ line, but softer than the Light Green Snakeskin. All in all for the asking price I believe you're getting a very good pen that writes as well as any other pen in this price range especially with such a visually appealing finish. Writing sample is done on .5cm grid 90 gsm Clairefontaine paper. Measurements: 12.2m capped, 15.2cm posted, and 11.5cm unposted.

Asking price is $75 shipped within CONUS via Priority with tracking/insurance. USA buyers preferred. International buyers please PM or Email for shipping rates. I am not responsible for any duty fees incurred since I have no control over customs.
