[SOLD]Blackbird BB2/60 $110
Blackbird BB2/60 a very sought after model due to it being a larger size than most Blackbirds. Imprints are amazing on this pen. Very deep and crisp. A great pen for anyone that wants to get into a vintage Mabie Todd to enjoy their flexible nibs, and a nicely designed understated pen. Section has Blackbird inscribed. Lever's nickel trim still has good luster. The imprint on the top of the cap is present, but my poor photography skills fail to capture it adequately. The nib is the original Blackbird 14k nib. Writes from a Medium-Double Broad. The nib has a slight bend in it but doesn't affect writing. It's just not perfectly straight which is quite common with vintage nibs since this pen is half a century or older. The cap does have a hairline from the lip that is about 1cm, but it is stablized, and won't spread from normal use. Fitted with a new sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are 14cm capped, 16.5cm, and 12.5cm unposted.
