This Self Filler 2 by Mabie Todd Swan Co. is from the late 1910's-1920's. The chasing on the pen is faint, but still visible. This is a full size pen(especially long when posted), and definitely made to be competitive against pens like the Waterman 52. The imprints are very good with Company info/origin on the body of the barrel, and a model imprint near the end of the barrel. Pen is all original. With wonderful Swan imprinted ebonite feed, and original Swan 14k #2 heart hole nib. The nib has Superflex qualities that has good springback response, and writes from F/M-BB+. No major scratches, chips, or cracks. New sac, and ready for a new home. Please check pics for a better description. Writing sample is done on .5cm light grid print on HP 24lb laserjet paper. Measurements are: 14.2cm capped, 17.7cm posted, and 13.3cm unposted.
